Welcome

This is a list of multimedia projects for students taking second and third year foreign language classes.  Each project includes objectives and instructions, as well as expanded instructions for advanced students. You may use the multimedia files in any of the following ways:

  • To support a class presentation
  • As a class presentation
  • As a final oral exam
  • For your online resume or e-portfolio
  • As a sample of your skills for a scholarship or graduate school application

Your instructor will choose the projects that your class needs to produce; she or he may also provide your class with a rubric or will explain the grading process.

Global Language Portfolio
One of the purposes of the projects listed here may be used for the Dossier section of the Global Language Portfolio, which is a system that lets a learner of a language “document and reflect on their language learning and cultural competence.” You may find the GLP at http://www.has.vcu.edu/wld/glportfolio/index.html.
