Rules
Use the target language only. You may do research in English, but every word you say in your files MUST be in the language you are studying.
Do not work alone. Do all or most of your projects with a classmate. This way, you will help each other and learn and practice more. Remember that all the participants in one project must speak in the video or audio file.
Keep all your files in one place. Virginia Commonwealth University students must prepare an e-portfolio inside Blackboard to share these projects with their instructor. Students from other institutions may use Angel or design a website using Google, Yahoo!, MySpace, Facebook, Freewebs, or any other free service.
Fair use. If you do any of these projects for a class that does not require them, you need to let your instructor know that you used this page to work on your project. If you use pictures or any other materials created by somebody else, even if they don’t have any symbols indicated that they are registered or copyrighted (®©™), you must give credit to the author(s). You can use any pictures or songs as long as you use them in a “fair use” basis, but you cannot share them with individual other than your classmates and instructor(s). If you are planning to upload your files to Youtube or any other online site, the materials must be created by you. To learn more about copyright and intellectual policies, click on the links below:
