Time: 1 week (50 minutes)
Objective: Produce a video 1 to 2 minutes long to introduce yourself in Spanish.
NOTE: ANY VIDEO LONGER THAN 2 MINUTES WILL HAVE 20 POINTS DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL GRADE OF THE PROJECT.
Instructions for the video:
1.Create a video or a picture story of yourself.
2.You have to say hello and mention the following: your name, where you are from, where you live, your age, and any other relevant information. Use Spanish only.
3.Don't forget to upload your video to your e-portfolio with the name proyecto 1, or El video de xyz. XYZ= your name.
4.Upload your video to your e-portfolio. Share the e-portfolio with your instructor.
Suggestions:
Imagine that you are introducing yourself to new friend from a Spanish speaking country. Write a paragraph about yourself, or pretend to have a conversation with a classmate. Decide if you will use pictures or video. If you choose to use pictures and audio, record the audio and then add the pictures by using Photo Story or iMovie. The Media Center has microphones and audio recording software, a few webcams, as well as word processors.
Most laptops have a microphone on the side or front, but if you may record your audio at the Media Center.
Extra: To add credits to your video, you may need one or more of the following phrases: dirigido por (directed by), producido por (produced by), escrito por (written by), creado por (created by), hecho en (made in), música y video (music and video).
OFF [Only For Fun]: Shoot the video or take the pictures at home, at a party, at the park, or outside your dorm. You may include your friends, family members, or pets. Use your favorite music in your video.
